Trademark registration in the Republic of Belarus is carried out through the National Center of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Belarus.

The following information and documents are generally required for filing:
A power of attorney does not require notarisation if it is signed by the head of the company.
If it is signed by another person, confirmation of authority or notarisation with indication of powers may be required.
Important: For electronic filing, a copy of the power of attorney may be submitted within 2 months. The original is provided only if the office specifically requests it.
The trademark registration period may be reduced to approximately 1.5 to 2 months if all available procedural stages are accelerated and payments are made promptly.

Acceleration of each stage is charged separately and is additional to the standard procedure.
Important: Accelerated timing does not include the time required to conclude an agreement with the office, which may take approximately 3 working days.
Possible accelerated periods are 5 working days or 10 working days.
It is usually recommended to accelerate this stage together with substantive examination.
Accelerated examination may be carried out after 6 months from the filing date, or immediately after the decision to accept the application for examination.
Important: If accelerated examination is requested immediately after acceptance of the application, the applicant assumes the risks connected with possible later detection of earlier similar signs.
Possible accelerated periods are 5 working days, 10 working days or 1 month.
Registration and issuance of the certificate may be accelerated to 5 working days after payment of the registration fee.
The term of trademark protection in Belarus is 10 years from the filing date.
The registration may be renewed for further 10-year periods.
