EAPAN operates within the framework of the Eurasian Patent Convention and provides comprehensive IP services across Eurasia and Europe.
The Eurasian Patent Convention is implemented by the Eurasian Patent Organization (The EAPO). The Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) carries out filing, examination, prosecution, and other procedural activities.
Eurasian patents are valid in all Contracting States for the first three years and may then be maintained selectively by paying annuities to the Eurasian Patent Organization (The EAPO).
We operate in all Eurasian Patent Convention Contracting States: Armenia (AM), Azerbaijan (AZ), Belarus (BY), Kazakhstan (KZ), Kyrgyzstan (KG), Russia (RU), Tajikistan (TJ), and Turkmenistan (TM), as well as other countries including Georgia (GE), Moldova, and Uzbekistan (UZ), and worldwide through our partner network.
Founded in 1993 as PAG following the introduction of intellectual property legislation in Belarus. In 2001, EPAG Ltd. was established in Lithuania to support CIS–EU transitions and international professional cooperation.
In a complex geopolitical and regulatory landscape, protecting IP in Eurasia requires proven experience, trusted local presence, and the ability to bridge legal systems and business cultures.
We act as a reliable bridge between the Eurasian region and the rest of the world, helping clients safely enter markets, maintain and enforce rights, and structure cross-border portfolios.
